Life in the ocean depends on numerous factors. Physical parameters is one of the many issues that sea creatures and other living organisms have to deal with in their daily life. Physical parameters include things such as: salinity, temperature, transparency which allows photosynthesis to occur, dissolved nutrients, dissolved gases, acid-base balance, and hydrostatic pressure.
Physical parameters also include
currents and tides. There are two types of currents: currents that
move horizontally along the surface and those that move vertically in deeper
water.
