Pat Couret, Jeannie Hinyard, Billie Joy Harrell and Ron Schumacher participated in a 16 day OceanographicWorkshop at J. L. Scott Aquarium located in Biloxi, Mississippi, created and presented a Staff Development Presentation on oceanographic Habitats. This workshop was part of COAST. Billie Joy Harrell is a third grade teacher at Fair Elementary School in Louisville, Mississippi. Billie Joy attended Mississippi State University. Jeannie Hinyard is a second grade teacher at Welder Elementary School in Sinton, Texas. She enjoys working in her yard and camping in the mountains. Pat Couret, a native of New Orleans, is a 5th grade Language
Arts teacher at Kehoe-France School
in Metairie, LA. She enjoys boating, gardening, and traveling.
Pat is particularly interested in incorporating environmental issues into
cross-curricular activities.
