This summer I spent 3 weeks far away from Michigan City studying Lake Michigan.  Boy, did I ever learn alot, and I am bringing home tons of books and reference materials! I participated in the program Operation Pathfinder which had components of STARBORD and Ocean Voyagers.  This is all part of the COAST program.   I am so excited about school starting this year!  It is only a few days away.  Be sure you come to school with all your needed supplies:

 

No. 2 pencils,          red and blue ink pens          3 spirals          one fishing pole          a binder for science or a folder          a ph kit and a thermometer          compass          protractor          colored pencils          rubber boots          notebook paper

 

 
You should have your supplies and be ready for work on Wednesday, August 20th!
